Recent News New Chairman, Secretary Elected to HeartShare Board of Directors

The HeartShare Human Services of New York Board of Directors elected member Paul J. Torre as its new Chairman and member Salvatore A. Calabrese as Secretary at the Board's recent annual meeting.

Paul Torre has been a member of HeartShare's Board since 1997 and served as Secretary since 2005. He was elected Chairman after the passing of Ralph Subbiondo, the Chairman since 2002. Mr. Torre is Executive Vice President of American Stock & Transfer Company's mutual fund division, The Altman Group, and has more than 20 years of mutual fund proxy experience.

"I am very proud and fortunate to be a part of the HeartShare family and look forward to working closely with my colleagues on the Board to provide Bill Guarinello and his staff with over-site, leadership and support long into the future as they continue doing such great work for so many deserving children, adults and families served by HeartShare," noted Mr. Torre.

Salvatore Calabrese has been a member of HeartShare's Board since 2006 and was elected Secretary to succeed Mr. Torre. Mr. Calabrese is the owner of RE/MAX Metro, a real estate firm which helps individuals buy and sell their homes.
