For many adults with developmental disabilities, attending karate class is just a dream. At HeartShare, we help that dream come true.

ChrisAnn and her fellow classmates are part of HeartShare's Respite/Recreation Program which meets monthly for various outings and adventures.

Tyreek and the other participants look forward to this class as well as other outings, such as trips to local sporting events, museums and bowling.

In this class ChrisAnn learned how to stretch, punch, kick, and even break a board.

HeartShare's Respite/Recreation Program tries to open a world of opportunities that would otherwise not be available to adults with developmental disabilities.
