HeartShare Human Services of New York

At HeartShare's After-School programs, dance, chorus and drama are some of the most popular activities, giving kids a chance to creatively express themselves.

Before the fun begins, time is dedicated to completing homework and getting tutoring assistance.

Zakaria enjoys the violin lessons he gets once a week, and refers to his instrument as "My Baby." Most kids in public schools don't have the opportunity to learn to play the violin.

A popular activity, especially for Jennifer and Toniann, is arts and crafts. They get to make an assortment of things throughout the year to bring home.

Victoria looks forward to coming to our after-school program because she knows that our staff care about her and are happy to see her every afternoon.
