HeartShare Human Services has been selected as a Design Corps client. The mission of Design Corps is to provide non-profit organizations with quality pro-bono design services, while exposing Pratt communications design students to professional experience and instilling them early in their careers an appreciation of giving back.
The students, led by Professors Michael Kelly and David Frisco, are exploring what the HeartShare brand means and how to portray it to new audiences. With this new marketing tool, HeartShare hopes to convey the breadth of its services, as well as its transformative impact on the lives of New Yorkers in crisis.
Students toured HeartShare’s Brooklyn Day Habilitation Program to familiarize themselves with developmental disabilities services, as well as have some first-hand contact with those we serve. Throughout the semester, students will offer several design concepts before the project is developed further.
