The ladies of Moore Residence, who have been coping with the aftermath of the fire at their group home, enjoyed a night out at HeartShare’s Residential Dinner Dance.

HeartShare hosted over 600 guests at its Annual Residential Services Dinner Dance at Russo’s on the Bay on Monday, September 19th. The event is an annual highlight for program participants and their families. Board Members and community partners attend to show their support.

The dinner dance aims to raise funds for HeartShare’s residential services, which includes group homes and supported apartments throughout the New York community for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Justin, who currently lives at HeartShare’s E. 66th Street Residence, with his mother Randy at the Residential Services Dinner Dance.

HeartShare’s Executive Director Linda Tempel welcomed E.66th Street Residence, to be dedicated to Radio Host Elvis Duran, to the HeartShare family. Tempel also presented a video that was created to raise funds for the Moore Residence following a fire there last month. The ladies with special needs who live there were evacuated safely, but lost all their personal possessions. They are currently staying at the Hampton Inn.
